White circle icon

Does anyone know what the white circle icon is in the top left hand side of the screen. It’s a block colour of white. No lines around or through it. Just a plain full white circle. I’m stumped! Thank you

the left side is set aside for notifications. and the easiest way you can find out is to just look in your phone's settings>notifications to find out, but i'm guessing that this is not your phone. we get this type of question on a daily basis.

the hard thing about answering this question is that there are well over a million apps that use notification icons and when you factor in that websites can also send notifications to your phone, that is more than a million more to add to the list!!!!!!!

so unless it is a popular one like the netflix notification, it will be very hard for us here to know what icon is what. most of these questions go unanswered.

the only true way is to look into the phone's list of notifications thru the phone's settings......or ask the person whose phone it belongs to.

....sorry i wish that i knew what that icon was.

Thank you for your reply. I understand what you’re saying. The problem is that the phone is my grandads and no one in our family has an Android. We’re all iPhone users so figuring out these things calls for google or forums!

yeah no worries......it should be accessible in your phone settings by going to settings>notifications>and just look for the symbol in the list. if it is not there then you should be able to pull down the notification bar on the home screen and see what the icon is.
