Help Can't upload new android.

Hello,

I have 2 Honeywell devices which have corrupt android hence unable to boot and I can't even push new OS via adb.

Honeywell
ScanPal EDA50K
Android 7.1.1
I get two errors while trying to sideload via adb:

• E1001: failed to update system image
• E: Signature verification failed

With second scanpal I can't enter even into recovery mode. I have pretty much runned out of options so any help is greatly appreciated.

Unless you can install the original stock rom for the device, you may be out of luck

where did you get the firmware to flash? do you have a link? firmware is very device specific.

Hi, firmware was downloaded from Honeywell site for device model EDA50K.

And the instructions for flashing it? That type of thing is also device-specific, but usually involves either using a computer and a program called fastboot (which can work as long as the device's bootloader is intact) or by copying it to the top of the SD card and rebooting. And as that device has a removable card you can use a computer and a card reader to do that, no need to adb sideload.
