Gps finder

I have a very old phone i think its model 4'1'2. Anyway, i turn on gps and it goes on but on top it says "searching for gps" And it just doesn't seem to find it. Sometimes it will after a half hour or so. Is there a fix for this? Or am i better off getting a new phone?

PS in case your wondering the phone in question is a little over 7 years old

i second a new phone. a 7yr old phone should only be used for making phone calls and that is it.

Is there a fix for this?

Not necessarily fix it, but I use this app to determine how well my GPS is working and getting a fix from the satellites. Works with glonass too.

^^^that, unless you have her permission, then you can do it through google family.

I'm pretty sure I tracked mine through just the phone number on some Google based Cloud app.
Of course I had the passwords and special question answers.
So if you already broke up: fuggid about it!
