Help Anyway to override camera not working with low battery?

Jiggles

Phone gets to 15% (which is plenty of battery IMO) and I can't take a pic.

Get in a car wreck and need to take some photos? oh no 15% battery because its the end of the day and you forgot your charger. Need to snap a pic of a deadly snake that just bit your dog to take with you to the vet's office? can't low battery.

These 2 events happened to me (wasn't driving though). Please tell me this is a setting I can fix :(

get a car charger?

:)

But no.. You cant.. Maybe if you root? But I doubt it eben then

I have a car charger.. and I leave it in my car :(

It just seems like a perfect storm of something can happen (even worse than mine! :( ) and you would be ****ed because you have 15% battery which is more than enough. I've been texting (about 50 total in/out) and have made about 5 mins worth of calls since I made this thread and battery is at 11%. (made at 15%)

You can get a different camera app to use when your battery is low. I plan on doing this, and using tasker to set things up so that when I launch the stock camera app AND the battery is below 15% it automatically opens the other app.

I use Camerazoomfx. Its odd though, it didn't work on past phones but it works on my Captivate with low battery. I recommend it not only to take pictures, but as the camera you SHOULD be using!

I notice that the Facebook camera can be used with low battery. Problem with that is that Facebook is a huge battery hog, and whatever you photograph you have to post to save.

This guy read my mind about a third party camera app..in my case I use CameraMx..it does take great pictures..also while at 1%..and gets even better..believe it or not..also takes pictures while I'm talking on the phone!!!
