Help Videos keep resuming 5-8 seconds after being paused

Hi all, I got a new phone this month (Umi F2) and its running Android 10. I've gotten used to Umidigi devices coming with a few OS bugs here and there but this one stumps me. Any videos at all (Youtube, Google Files video player, and Chrome embedded player) resume them selves about 5 to 8 seconds after I pause them. 100% of the time too, its not like it happens sometimes, no it happens every time I pause.

not sure what you can do....maybe factory reset?

I'd rather not do that, but if worse comes to worse I'll try that
