Play store update issue

I am not getting update button in play store after uploading a new apk into playstore.
Instead of update button its showing open button. This I am facing after google policies were changed.
Can someone please help me out as I am facing same issue with many apps in the playstore.

ok i just alerted the mods to move this thread to the developers forum for better exposure.

Actually the app is popping up a alert dialogue with the update button, which on clicking is redirecting to the app in the playstore but instead of update button its showing open button.
