chromecast audio without premium

Is there a way to use my chromecast audio for YT music without having to pay the 10-15€/mth for a subscription. It makes no sense to me that I cannot use the product I paid Google for and then not being able to use it for their music service.

YT music should work fine, paid or free version.

youtube music can only be played via chromecast audio only if you have youtube premium.
