Anyone know what app this is??

There's a heart [one half shaded]in the notification bar. anyone recognizes this?
I think it is a dating app..
 
Probably a fitness app.....but who knows.

We get this almost on a daily basis and majority of these questions goes unanswered. There a there are millions upon millions of apps with notification icons. Not to mention websites as well. So you see unless it's a popular app, it's almost like finding a needle in the hay stack. The only true way of knowing is to look on the phone, but in 99.9% of the time looking in the phone is not an option.

You can just ask whoever owns the phone, or you can cross your fingers and hope someone here might recognize it.

But either way, I wish you luck.
 
Well if you can take pictures it means you have access to the phone. In which case you can just pull down the notifications and see what app it is. Which is by far the simplest answer (the other is just to ask the person whose phone it is, but there seem to be a lot of people who are unwilling to try that or unable to accept the answer).
 
I think it is Zoosk app...but still have some doubts.
someone else took this pic for me..i didnt have access to the phone ...if i have whats the point asking you for help here..
i did ask the person whos phone it is...but he doesnt want to talk about it:)

A heart could be a fitness app, something has been favourited, or maybe something else. To see what the nofication is, pull down the notification shade on your phone or tablet, and it should indicate what app or service it is.
 
You're right - there's no point in asking.
Read the other posts. There are gazillions like this

Ask them. Good luck. 95% it's not what you suspect.

You would be surprised how many people ask about things they have access to all of the information about ;). Remember also that we don't know you or your circumstances: you might be a life-long iPhone owner who knows nothing about Android notifications, for example.

Seriously though, I can see where your thinking comes from: I'd never heard of Zoosk, but the two-tone heart notification does echo a motif they use. The only picture I've tracked down of an actual Android notification from that app uses a different icon, but it also dated back to 2015 so it's very possible they've rebranded since then (web searches turn up other variations on hearts associated with Zoosk, but the two-tone divided down the middle seems to be the commonest one, and is the one they are currently using on their website). So it's not definitive, but it looks like a strong possibility.
