How can I stop my phone deleting temporary files.

Hi,
There is a game I'm having trouble with, and the forum for that game hasn't been able to help me. It's the Simpson Tapped Out, and everytime I load the game it wants me to download the entire game data, which should only happen when starting the game on a new device. This can be anything up to 2000mb, but the amount can vary. If I proceed and download it all I can play the game as often as I like for maybe a day or so, then I'm back to square one and it wants me to download it all again. I've gone through the settings and can't see anything that's wrong. I also never get notifications for the game even though they're enabled. Any help would be much appreciated.

are you rebooting your phone? if so than try not rebooting it often and see if that helps. plus rebooting often is not good. it wears out the processor and is not really needed. i rarely reboot the phone. maybe once or twice in a month mostly because of a glitch or something.

if you are not rebooting the phone often, than it might be with the game. i would try and contact the developers of the game and see what they say.

I just quit that game over five years ago, because it would not save my data. Had up until I did unlock Snoop Dog, Avril Lavenge, and some other "celeberity" .

I'm not rebooting my phone, so I reckon I may have to contact the game developer. This has never happened on previous devices and so my first thought was that it must be the phone and not the game itself.

yeah i don't think it is your phone. otherwise it would be more than just this game. is the game up to date?

This is published by EA, and quite frankly I've never been impressed by them. Are you sure your phone or tablet is actually deleting the game content? Because it seems every time I wantedto play one of their games, e.g. Need for Speed and Real Racing, they always needed to download huge multi-gigabyte updates before they'll play. I've not tried Simpsons Tapped Out though, but it sounds like it might be the same experiences I've had with EA stuff.

Also there's many 1-star reviews in the Play Store for this game, with users howling about various problems with it.

The game is up to date. I can't be sure it is deleting the temporary files but am just assuming that's what is happening. I've played this game on and off for several years and it's only since I've had this phone I've been experiencing these issues. I can't be downloading 2000mb of data everytime I want to play the game.
