Phone on the watch3

I have the S21+ and the Galaxy watch3, but when I get a phone call, there is no sound or notification on the watch. Is there some setting I missed?

Thank you. I always update when told there is one. At this time, I delete the app from the phone and reinstalled to be sure I had the latest. Then when I tested, caller's name shows on the phone, but no sound notification. And I checked the settings in the watch and all the volumes are up.

Is there a way to check for update to the watch?

So I just checked my Wear app and look and behold, there was an update. So don't wait for it to ask you.... Take a look and see.

My version is 2.2.47.21122061 for the Wear app and my watch 3 plug-in is 2.2.09.22012751.

Also thru the Wear app you can tweak your watch settings for notifications as well.

There is a setting for sound and vibration. Are you sure it is set to sound?

Thanks for trying. My versions are exactly the same as yours. And the setting for sound mode is indeed set to sound. And yes, I see the selection on the main screen of the phone app that says watch settings. But I see nothing in there that relates to the watch emitting a sound when there is a phone call. It does vibrate, but no sound.

on your watch or in the Wear app:
go to settings>sounds and vibrations>ringtones also make sure that you have the volume up for ringtones as well.
