Thank you! Unfortunately it's all years old, so nothing current.
I've been to Canada(Ontario), and only 2 carrier networks I saw while I was there, was Rogers, and Bell. I believe AF has forums for both of them. Also isn't Sasktel a Canadian career? That AF also has a forum for.
Maybe AF doesn't get many members from Canada? In fact I know more AF members who are in China, than Canada.

Just getting 3 lines for the family but with unlimited calls, texts and data within Canada and to/from the US. International and US roaming like TMo would be sweet.
Checking into Google Voice too.

do you have something like Best Buy in Canada? i like to go there and you can have the salesman give you a nice breakdown of the carriers and their plans and which one would be best for you.

Yeah, we are moving to CA, where we have been, off and on, for awhile but in the US for past 3 years. There are Best Buys and that's a great suggestion. I'll stop in after I cross the border, which has been closed but reopens August 9. Thanks!

There is a new Canadian carrier called Freedom Mobile. Does anyone have any experience with that outfit?

I looks about right for Canada. Especially as most of the population lives in the south, and often within 100km of the US border. And the population of Canada is about half that of the UK. If you're up in the northern wildernesses of Canada, it's best if you have a satellite phone.
