I've got two google accounts on my phone, I want to remove one of them. I've tried the advice given in Google help but it doesn't fit my phone, which is Oneplus Nord 2.

what have you tried to do that does not work? this way others will not suggest the same thing.

i do not have your phone but, on my z fold 4 i can go to my phone's settings>google services>click on my avatar>a popup should appear>select manage accounts on this device>select the account you want to delete>remove account.

this is on my phone. your phone might be different. you can also just do a search for "manage accounts". go to your phone's settings>hit the search icon(the magnifying glass icon)>search for "manage accounts">select the account>and select remove account.

Very few people will have 2 Google accounts on their phone, so we may have to ask some questions about your setup.

The way I'd expect to remove an account would be to go into my system Settings, go to Accounts > Manage Accounts, select the account and look for a "remove" button. Names and locations of items in settings can vary with Android version or phone manufacturer, but something along those lines should work. So what happens if you try that: do both have a "remove" option, and does that not work for the one you wish to remove? Is there any difference between the accounts, e.g. one is linked to the Play Store and the other only an email account?

Hi again. I've tried to do exactly what you suggest, but when I go to Accounts, there's nothing called manage accounts. There's just Users and Accounts (in Danish) a d I can't see the second account

As I say, the precise names and arrangements of settings varies between devices. But you have a list of accounts, and there should be options for managing (e.g. deleting) in there somewhere.

So you say you have 2 Google accounts but only one of them shows up in the accounts section. So where is the second one visible? What apps can see it? And is the one that isn't visible the one you want rid of? If it's just showing up in an email app for example can you just remove it from that app? You'll need to tell us what's going on to get the best chance of an answer.

Here's my latest problem: I sold my wife's Galaxy Note 10+ and I had logged out of everything before resetting it. However, the buyer is now telling me it's prompting him to log into the Google account - so FRP still thinks it's hers! What's frustrating is that I went to her Google account device manager: sure enough, we hadn't removed it from the Google account. But there's no option to remove the device! I need help here, because I would hate to pay for him to ship this thing back to me so I can fix all this and send it back...

The only other thing I can think of is to tell him the password, then get him to remove it after unlocking (and reset in case anything restored), then change the password once that's done. Requires some trust, but nothing else comes to mind.

Wow, that's going to suck because all her app data, photos, everything will be his to download & peruse at his leisure after this is done. Just from a personal security perspective, I'd be more inclined to ship the phone back & forth. Good thought but I don't know the buyer at all...
