we get this question almost every day. the problem is that there millions of apps that have notification icons. so unless it is something like facebook or youtube, most of these questions go unanswered.
why not just look at whoever's phone it is. just look under the notification bar to find out....or ask the person what it is.

Yeah that could be any number of apps.
