Help [SOLVED] [Alarm] How to prevent sound?

Hello,

Without an engineering degree, I can't figure out how to prevent the alarm from playing sounds: I only want the phone to vibrate.

Checking the "Vibrate" option and the "mute" icon through the volume button didn't help.

It's a second-hand phone, and the previous owner upgraded the phone to Evolver EvolutionX ROM, so the UI is different from the original Xiaomi Redmi EMUI interface.

PS: What's the meaning of the middle icon (bell with slash in its center)?

Found it: You must select the audio track, and mute it.

I find it odd that setting the phone to mute has no impact on how the alarm behaves.

Senza una laurea in ingegneria, non riesco a capire come impedire alla sveglia di riprodurre suoni: voglio solo che il telefono vibri.

Il controllo dell'opzione "Vibrazione" e dell'icona "muto" tramite il pulsante del volume non ha aiutato.

È un telefono di seconda mano e il precedente proprietario ha aggiornato il telefono alla ROM Evolver EvolutionX, quindi l'interfaccia utente è diversa dall'interfaccia originale Xiaomi Redmi EMUI.

Hi, it seems to be Google Clock, go to settings>timer sound>silent, try this

Thanks, but it doesn't seem to be there in that custom ROM.

Yes, I regret not having the standard ROM, even though it's no longer updated (lastest Android 9).

At the top right, three dots, you find the settings there, Google Clock is the same for everyone

Through the general menu, I set the alarm volume down to 0, left the alarm's default audio track (ie. didn't mute), and…Google played it.

So, on my phone at least, it seems it does require silencing the audio track within the alarm.
