adw launcher disappears

My ADW launcher just disappears at times and I have to power cycle the phone to get it back. Is there an option of some kind?
 
When you say it disappears, what exactly do you mean? Do you see something other than your homescreen when you press your home button? Are you sure that the Is simply didn't clear it from RAM and you're waiting for it to reload?
 
Same Problem here. Theres just nothing more to See, than the Background image. No function is Provider. No reactions to longpress. I can still open the App Stack with the harware Buttons and can swipe down to tolle bt,wlan,Touch,flightMode and so son

Um, this thread is 11 years old, the ADW has been abandoned for probably as many years, what's up?

what phone do you have? have you tried other launchers like the nova launcher?
