No new voicemail notifications or appearing in the inbox

I have the Nova launcher. Could that be responsible? I know it prevents app badges in the non premium version.

I had issues with the Verizon visual voicemail on my old LG phone. Switched recently to a Samsung S24+ and have had no problem with the Samsung version.

Yeah funny thing I did check my voicemail through Nova like a spell ago, was pretty amazing.

I did. That's why I'm here. They don't have a remedy. They create a ticket, after which I never hear from them again.

I can do a force stop, clear data, and restart the device, after which the inbox displays the later voicemails, but after that, when the next voicemail is recorded, I am required to force stop, clear data, and restart the device all over again.

Just i case the series of events aren't clear, I attempt to "refresh" the inbox

but after about a minute,, the error message with no identifying cause appears

@countryblue you might have to do a factory reset. Your other option is to take the phone in to Verizon and have a technician look at it. Or keep hounding customer service for an answer.

Verizon had no such repair service. Their "Ubreakifix" shop only covers physically damaged devices.

My local verizon store does. You might want to ask them if there is one near you.

No I regulary phoned it in.

Not if it's a warranty issue. There's no shortage of repair shops around, and just like anywhere else, whatever service your local Verizon store renders, you're gonna pay out of pocket.

well they can at least look at it and figure out what is wrong with the device. i don't think it needs repair. your issue could be something that is on their system. it does not hurt to go in and ask for help.
