My oldest living daughter and her husband are attending the Olympics. I don't know what events they plan on watching but it should be a fun trip for them. They have vacationed in Europe two or three times now so they won't totally be fish out of water.

i am worried that they will not get the Siene River clean enough for events to be held there. supposedly the e.coli is still too high in concentration. the mayor swam in the river. i hope she did not get sick....lol

events i am looking forward to watching are:
swimming, water polo, baseball, basketball, track and field, cycling, and BREAK DANCING!!!!!!

I dig the Olympics. For a trained athlete to compete in the Olympics is like stars aligning. Talent, health, age, peaking at the right time...... just so many factors.
It's a lot of fun to watch them compete.
