Trouble with volume button

It's defective and then some. I just avoid it, but it won't return the favor. That vertical slider appears out of nowhere. It"s very hard to get rid of, and almost impossible to change the setting, because it goes right back to where it was. How do I fix it?

Oh, did you hit the volume buttons, it appears when you touch the keys also on your screeen too.

If it's a physical a key that the issue, then you can either ignore it, get it fixed, or get a new device. If it's a software issue, then you can try a factory reset.
