The new youtube in-app popup player/window is awful.

i don't mind youtube's picture in picture, if that is what you are talking about. i use it quite often on my z fold 6. works great for me.

Not sure what you mean by picture in picture. I mean when you swipe down on the currently playing video, it goes to a miniplayer in the bottom right corner of the screen. Until recently it was a good viewing size and also easy to swipe away to stop that vid playing. Now it's tiny - so small as to be pointless - and is a pain to swipe away.

with two fingers, you can pinch to zoom out to increase the size on the mini player.

The X is there yes, but it was the case on the previous one where just a casual swipe down anywhere on the miniplayer would close it, without having to actually look and aim for the X. The new miniplayer apparently has that feature too but it's taking me 4 or 5 swipes to make it actually go away - it just bounces back up most times.
