what got me hooked was learning and helping on rooting devices. back in the day i was hanging out in the HTC Hero and HTC EVO forums. i even had a guide here showing how to root the HTC EVO. it was pretty cool.

What got me started, was also searching for an anti-fb type forums to play with but ultimatelly found what I just wanted for my moto z 2, and stay.
