Samsung Samsung One UI 7 Update Delayed Again?

I've been on the One UI 7 beta for two months, it's been on beta 3 for a month, it's buttery smooth and I keep checking to see if Samsung has signed it as final firmware. I have no idea who went on vacation and left something undone...

It looks like they are going to push a new One UI 7 Beta 4 out next week, don't know if it's for Beta testers only or for all S24's .
Word is that it is a beta release to sort out more issues and will be for registered Beta testers.

Yeah, we've been waiting for a Beta 4 for six weeks! It doesn't take that long to push out another beta version... there's a reason why the Samsung website STILL has the S24 Ultra listed at the full original price - instead of discounting it as soon as the S25 Ultra was released. It's because they know S25 sales aren't going well, and they're trying to make bank on the Bluetooth S Pen (which Samsung insisted almost nobody uses).

It's evident that, while S Pen users don't use the features a lot, they were confident that the features were there in case they WANT to use them. Losing the S Pen features was a cost-cutting measure - and I hope Samsung finds out that they lost more money in sales than they gained in lower production costs.

I really hope that this is not true and that the S24, S23, S22 and S21 series receive One UI 7.0 before April/May...

I believe this is very likely the first time that Samsung has ever sold a flagship device while retaining the original price of its previous-year predecessor... at a higher price than the new one. I took this screenshot this morning from the USA Samsung website: the S24 Ultra 512GB is selling for $1499; while the S25 Ultra 512GB is selling for $1299. The first S25 series sales figures will be very illuminating... I expect the numbers will be dismal.

Is this wait worth the One UI 7 ?
Maybe.

Only something each user can decide.

With the benefit of hindsight, (a wonderful commodity), Samsung might have been better to release Android 15 last year and save One UI 7.0 for the Android 16 release.

May as well! By the time Samsung ever gets around to rolling out Android 15, Pixel devices will probably be getting Android 16.

Beta testers have been on Beta 3 for six weeks: Samsung just released Beta 4, but it's a compatibility test for carrier-branded devices. That means carrier S24 Ultras have the February security update, while unlocked phones have January's. One UI 7 is a fantastic upgrade from 6.1 - as botched as this beta test seems, though, many of us testers feel that the delays are inextricably linked to low sales figures for the S25 series (oh by the way: I understand that Samsung is charging a restocking fee for S25 returns if users are dissatisfied).

Yep: this is the One UI 7 Android 15 beta for the S24 Ultra. Which has been going on nearly three months! I have a feeling it will go three more months unless Samsung starts selling lots of S25s... which doesn't appear likely.

It seems to be rolling out on other phones that aren't even flagship phones and it seems to be stable for them, they should just give all the S24 down to S21 it and i think they will get more sales than their beloved S25..... get rid of them like the was it the S7 ?
