It rained over night and is still lightly raining. Just over an inch had fallen when I got up this morning but an additional .05 has fallen since. With the rain, the temperature has dropped. Instead of the day starting out in the low eighties, it's now 68°.
It's basically three hours later now and the rain is taking a brief break. The radar looks like more rain is likely. It's been a slow steady rain that will be good for the yards and plants. My station is now showing just under an inch and a half of rain since midnight. It has also warmed up some. It's now 69°

Wonderful rain fall, upper eighties, nice breeze over all.
I'm under an excessive heat wave warning for this week. It looks as if I'll be enjoying some dry but hot weather. High nineties to low one hundreds with no rain is the forecast. The humidity is to continue to be high and it is to remain windy. Sounds wonderful... not!
Calling for 99°, tomorrow, with a 40% chance of rain.
This afternoon it was 98.2° with 54% humidity making it feel like 113.7°. In other words.... inhospitable
My weather app's miserable greeting this morning: Sunny hot with highs in the upper 90's. South winds 15 to 20 mph. Heat index up to 108°
