What's the weather like where you are?

I don't know what the index had to say about today but I say it was hot. My station shows that it reached 99° today and I'm sure the humidity was elevated as it's been daily for a couple of weeks. Tomorrow the forecast calls for the same sort of weather. A break in the temperature with rain predicted for Thursday sounds encouraging until you consider the last thing we need here is more rain to keep the humidity high. Oh well... it's not like bitching about it will cause the weather to improve. Besides, the grass and fields are lush with growth. The good and the bad.
 
Though I started early and mowed wet grass due to the high humidity, I just got home from work. My station says it's 96.6° and feels like 108.3 because of the 49% humidity. It seems dangerously hot out with little to no wind.

My good friend lives about 15 miles to my NE as a crow flies. His station was showing a North breeze and 82°. My station was showing a South breeze and 100°. I think the chances of storms are present. :)
 
My weather changed at 7:25 PM. I was riding my bike when the wind suddenly started blowing from the North and promptly dropped the temperature. The sky was questionable so I was riding somewhat local and came home. I was home around ten minutes when the rains came. It rained a little and then quit. Then it seriously rained. It is just sprinkling now after a 1.53" of rain.
Currently it is 72.5°

It's been a couple of hours since I posted the above. The temperature has pretty much stayed the same but it has been raining off and on. The weather gauge is now showing 2.44" so far. Rain is predicted through the night and most of tomorrow. With tonight's rain, I have now logged more than the yearly average for the area.

It's cool this morning being only 74° and no wind. The humidity after the rains, which totaled 2.64", is 88%. Needless to say, it is still very wet outside.
 
It was cooler today but the humidity was crazy high. The high was 83° and currently it is 74° with 79% humidity and zero wind. Tomorrow is forecasted to be even cooler but the humidity will be in the upper sixties percent. It's quite uncommon for Kansas to have high humidity.
 
Michigan is finally out of the high humidity and heat!
2 months of 90s with high humidity!
Now we can open the windows, go for a walk, and enjoy sitting outside for a change....
Dont get me wrong, I love summer but not being cooped up in the house day after day.
 
It's incredibly nice here in South central Kansas. It is only 71° with no wind. Keeping with the recent norm, the humidity is 78% however. I'm getting ready to go riding and I'm trying to decide what sort of clothing to wear. Low seventies with a 20+ mph bike wind will chill me with my thin blood. :)
 
I rode 45 miles and loved it. I then came home and mowed my lawn and sweat my butt off. It's only 82° but the humidity is 60%. I think I'll ride again. At least I enjoy a breeze while riding. :)

I rode again but only 30 miles. I needed to get home and fix dinner so I had to cut my second ride short. I'm trying to talk myself out of riding again tonight. The weather remains nice. It's still 82° but the humidity has dropped to 55%.

They added the chance for rain for the area tomorrow afternoon. The chances are not great but it seems a 5% chance = 2.5" lately :) I'm glad I mowed my yard today regardless. It was already in need. The recent cool trend continues tomorrow and through Tuesday. Temps to be in the low nineties Wednesday and beyond.
 
Mid 80's all week with no rain until Sunday.
I guess I'll be watering the lawn and flowers this week but I'll take it.
 
It's warming up here. Each day of the week has an increased forecasted high with no rain. It's August... hot and dry is to be expected. I hope that the weather pattern will lower this crazy humidity. Currently it is 73° with 74% humidity.
