How do I do that? I want you guys to check out "How Google Ruined Your Phone" from The Lever. It tells how that nasty goo is "cracking down" on Android functionality from third parties and offers a few alternative operating systems, such as Graphene. I would like to know if getting another os would involve rooting. I just have this feeling...

Ór you could have simply hit the share óption and copied the link as well,

As for Gemini, she's sleeping deep down ín a far corner of my phone - right beside that Mr. Bixby fellow.

I do try to exercise some degree anonymity in my life... Someone tried to get me to listen to an AI group. While AI can create music within its given parameters, it simply wasn't Hank.

Has anyone else read this article? I would like to discuss how to fight goo. Can I get one of those operating systems without rooting?

Well the article was talking about it's Gemini.
I have it disabled with no permissions granted . Bixby got the same treatment.

Over the years , with all your questioning Google, folks have given you ways to avoid them as much as possible be it app replacement or feature blocking, new browsers etc . I'm quite certain that there are threads on probably every android forum, that will tell you the same thing.

If I were you I'd make my last Google search something along the lines of "how do I get Google off of my phone."

Best of luck...

why not look into getting a linux phone?

To post a link from an article /website, just long press on the URL address across the top of your browser, and then choose "copy".
Then go to the other browser window and in your post, long press and choose paste.... I hope this helps

The new Huawei P40 Pro / Huawei Mate Xs / Huawei P40 Lite 5G runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10, but doesn't support Google apps and services, including Google Play Store. Lots of Apps are available from the Huawei AppGallery, and can also often be transferred from your own phone using the Huawei Phone Clone app.
