People always ask if a gameboy of nintendo is new, and I said "No, it is an antique, but when you find the right cartridges for it, then yeah you can play endless, but be sure to swamp batteries.."

The United States Constitution was written to serve as the Supreme Law of our Land on September 17th, 1787. It is the oldest functioning, written constitution in the world and has served as the basis of the American government for 238 years.

While many people believe that our rights come from the Constitution, they do not: the Declaration of Independence is clear that our rights are inherent at birth, endowed to us by God and Natural Law. The Constitution is a written guarantee that our rights can not be violated without due process. It is not a restraint on the People: it is a restraint on the federal government.

The States created the federal government with the Constitution and gave to it 18 specific powers. Sadly, we have allowed the federal government to seize a great deal of power from the States and the People over the last century... in violation of the 9th and 10th Amendments. We have a lot of altering and abolishing to do at the federal level.

I ended up with a Canadian penny in my change from my cash transaction for my trailer tag the other day. Getting a Canadian penny was once fairly common but always struck me odd. I'm in Kansas which isn't a Northern state. In any event, I don't see the coin much anymore. Perhaps it's the less cash changing hands that has caused the frequency I see the coin lessen. I was giving the coin a closer look and noted that it was minted in 1980. I then looked at the other three pennies and the nickel that I got in change at the tag office. All of the coins are from the 70's and 80's. ....Weird

I have you beat, @olbriar - I somehow ended up with a foreign coin in my change last week. I guess the cashier had mistaken it for a nickel - which is unusual for Middle Tennessee. It had Queen Elizabeth on it, so I knew it was either Canadian or British. After breaking out the magnifying glass so I could really examine it, it turned out to be a British Pound coin - which is about $1.35 right now. Nice nickel!

Yep, you win. I don't recall every receiving a coin from across the pond in my change. I have a few foreign coins that were handed down or gifted. I have never been off the continent.
