Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

I thought I was the sitting the bar pretty high when I had turkey a fourth meal but you have taken turkey consumption to an entirely new level.
Hahaaa...

I stumbled across something, I wanted to change my Owner information on my Moto edge 2022, and I end up crash landing here and it saids another annoying hard reset to change it back.. BUT I just got it reseted hahaaaa............ :)
There is no other way hahaaa, least it is still early enough, takes me way too long. Decided not to, besides who is going to see that?

Oh, there are plenty of ways to get rid of leftover turkey:
Turkey sandwiches
Turkey noodle soup
Turkey tacos
Turkey wraps
Turkey margaritas
Turkey milkshakes (just not in combination with the turkey margaritas)...

I well remember the day the neighbor to my North planted a little switch of an oak tree. Through the years that house has seen a couple of different owners and in recent times a renters. All the while, without any care or attention, the oak has grown into a massive example of the species. Being as it was planted close to the shared property line, I'm guessing over a third of the tree hangs over my yard. It hangs over my patio cover. It hangs over my roof. It hangs over my shed. With all of that hanging over, my yard is paved in acorns each year and the fallen leaves bury everything in my back yard. I've mulched the leaves three times this fall. It could be done again but the yard is pretty clean. The gutters are a different story. Today, weather permitting, is the day the acorns and leaves are removed.

I've been saving photos, videos and documents to my Google Drive since 2009 when I got the original Motorola Droid. After 19 years, though, we'd ended up paying $10/month for storage. I decided that, since we had everything duplicated here on the NAS (Network-Attached Storage) for self-hosting, we were paying $120/year for redundancy we didn't need (and I really don't want). So, I ended the subscription after making SURE my phone was backing up to the NAS.

This morning I woke up to "Your Gmail services aren't working anymore because you're over your 15GB storage limit."

Now comes the daunting task of deleting everything in my Google Drive: years and years of photos, videos and other files. The fastest way I've found is to delete them month by month in Photos. I've wiped out everything back to 2018, and this is a very time-consuming process.

THAT'S how Google works: gets us addicted to their services and starts charging us to keep everything in place. While we do that, Google analyzes the crap out of every photo and video so it can add that data to our consumer profile.

EDIT: I also woke up to a smoke detector chirping, so I had to replace that battery. No sooner had I finished that one when another one started chirping. Got that battery replaced - then our security system app told me the bedroom remote temperature sensor battery was low! Changed that an another smoke detector went off. Playing whack-a-mole with batteries has not made for a fun morning. Not to mention that our poor 15KW emergency heat is trying to keep us warm and we have the space heaters going to augment it: it's an expensive morning, too! I sure hope your Monday goes better...

After all these years, I've never sent anything to the Google Drive. Too many other free sites to use. The Boss Lady upgraded her phone to the Google Pixel 9, I believe, and soon after began getting a message that her storage was nearly filled and that her Gmail wouldn't work soon.
She'd been sending all her crap to the Drive for a while not knowing what she was doing.
After turning off all the automatic uploads and going in with some targeted deletions, she's happily still using her Pixel.

Well this appeared on my apps.
The main compoments on my cell out of the blue as like of an app, instead of tucked away on it.
I hope for another hard reset it will be fine, still it seems to work pretty amazing though...

Odd Chief: My sister's smoke detector chirped throughout the full last week..
Yeah also same way of using one drive as well, I think that all cloud based emails are such a pain to deal with.

Should I hard reset it to make them vanish?
