What's the weather like where you are?

IT did sprinkled down here last night for a half hour, my buddy and I just chitchatted for a half hour outside,
it was nice without cellphone distraction, I took a few photos for the rain yesterday.
 
The rain was over by midnight. The system dropped 3.42 inches of much needed rain before it moved on. Sadly, instead of a slow soaking rain, it dumped it so fast that most of it ran down the hill. It is getting late in the season to save the grass. It is good that it raised the level of all the reservoirs, lakes, and ponds. We desperately needed the rain. I'm not complaining.
 
It looks like the hot days are having their last gasp. It is to be in the upper nineties until Sunday and then we are to see a string of days in the seventies. There is a chance of rain most every day next week. Currently it is 75°, no wind, and 77% humidity.
 
It was hot and humid today. It wasn't a record setting day but a lot hotter than the typical mid September day. There is rain in the forecast for Sunday that's followed by cooler weather next week. I think everyone around these parts are more than ready for the change.
 
It was lightening at midnight when I went to bed. Sure enough, the little system dropped .53" before it moved on. It is cooler this morning and a high of high seventies is the forecast. That's twenty degrees cooler than yesterday's high.. just wow!
 
It's like 84, right now. Projected high of 90 expected today.
Cooling down nicely, after tomorrow.
