In addition to providing some battery tips, the official Galaxy S7 user guide makes some disclaimers regarding Fast Charging, and one of them we found particularly interesting: for Fast Charging to work the screen must be off.
Here are some more tips and info on Galaxy S7 Fast Charging...

Apple and Samsung largely dominate mobile device sales, but experts think that CES 2016 could be a turning point and that the brand new "honor" brand from Huawei could become the next dominant force in American consumer electronics...
Just before 2016 struck it looks like Android Community posted about a mystery device that passed some governemnt certifications:

They didn't know what the device was but some specs included 5.5-inch...
The CES 2016 Press Conference for honor is coming up: Tuesday at 8PM (local time)... there have been rumors thrown around but we can't be sure until the announcements are official.
What do you THINK will be announced at the CES 2016 event?
What do you WANT to be announced?
Let's hear it!
HTC just promised to update the HTC One A9 software within 15 days of any Google push of new software to Nexus devices. This seems like a hard feat to accomplish, especially considering the One A9 is not a stock Android experience.
Will they be able to fulfill their promise?
The HTC One A9 is the first non-Nexus device launching with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Those Nexus devices are literally just now landing on doorsteps around the world. Is anyone deciding between the three, or more likely, between the One A9 and Nexus 5X?
I can't recall the last HTC smartphone that had a fingerprint sensor- has there been one? I guess the HTC One Max and the HTC One M9+ may have had them but this is the first flagship of sorts by HTC to have one. Could be because of the Android Marshmallow inclusion and HTC's decision to more...
There will soon be an influx of new Nexus 5X owners and we hope Android Forums will be your preferred home! If you just ordered your Nexus 5X, let us know and say hello!
Lots of amazing Android devices out there... will you buy the Nexus 6P, go for one of the current alternatives out there, or are you waiting for something even better to be announced?
I owned the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 4 and loved both. Similar to the S6/Edge, the Galaxy Note 5 takes a departure from previous models and features premium design but lacks a MicroSD slot and water proofing. To be fair, none of the Notes were ever waterproof... only the Galaxy S5.
So...
Does anyone know of an app that will pull information from Samsung's S Health and allow a 1x1 widget on the homescreen that only counts your steps?
Google Fit has this but I prefer S Health, the step count is different, and I'd like tapping on the widget to open the app
S Health has a widget...
"How do I get back to the setup a samsung account screen? When I bought mine at the store, the tech cancelled out of it and I can't find it again"...
as seen on Phandroid:

Thought people here could help :)
I've been a Galaxy Note user for several years and absolutely love the device. HTC's One has been going head to head with Galaxy's S series for years and the One Plus (not to be confused with OnePlus) seems to be their logical answer to that device but it doesn't look like they'll sell it in the...
One very cool feature of the S6 Edge is being able to use the Edge screen as an alarm/night clock while the phone is sitting flat on your night stand.
To access this feature:
Open settings
Tap "Edge Screen"
Tap "Night clock"
Toggle to "On"
Choose hours at which night clock will be active

The Samsung Galaxy S6 lets you set a custom voice command to wake up your phone, even when the screen is off and it's locked.
Here is how:
Open your app drawer
Open "S Voice"
Immediately tap the "Gear" settings icon that appears on the bottom left
Toggle it on at the top right
Tap "set-up...
It sucks to repeatedly take a selfie, check it, take a selfie, check it, take a selfie, check it... waiting to get the perfect picture. Samsung addresses that problem with "Interval Mode" on the Samsung Galaxy S6.
To access interval mode:
Open the camera
Toggle to the front-facing camera
Tap...
