    Gingerbread release for Droid phones

    Does anyone know when the release date for Android 2.3, Gingerbread, is on the Verizon Droid phones? I currently have a Droid 2 Global and am anxiously awaiting the release of Gingerbread.

    Help Droid 2 Global Text Message Vibrate Problem

    I have a Droid 2 Global. I have gone into the text message settings and checked the vibrate box but my phone still will not vibrate when I receive a text:mad:. Same exact problem with e-mail too. Is there a way to fix this or should I go back to verizon for a new D2G? Thanks!
