rom w the fewest known issues... what say you?

do i want to relock after i have rooted? i remember the it was the last step listed on htvdev, but it wasn't necessarily a direction. what i am really asking is do i leave it unlocked? pros/cons? etc.?

before i rooted, i didn't have any, i liked it that way; nice and clean. i can't seem to figure out how to get rid of them; lil help?

i am using the virgin mobile variety; i am not sure if that matters. i will stop an app from task manager only to see it running again in the near future. is there anything i can do to w/o root?
