Root Unlock / Relock

do i want to relock after i have rooted? i remember the it was the last step listed on htvdev, but it wasn't necessarily a direction.

what i am really asking is do i leave it unlocked? pros/cons? etc.?

Personally I would leave it unlocked. Especially if you are s-on. With it locked, you won't be able to issue any fastboot commands which might be necessary at some point when you're in a bind!

makes sense to me. as long as there's no real reason to relock it, i won't.

no need to relock,it isnt a security issue to leave it unlocked and you may as the moderator stated need to issue some commands at some point.

fastboot is still pliable with relock. But there is absolutely no need for relocking the device.
