    Root Removing stock apps

    I was told that I could remove the stock apps in root explorer if I renamed the apps with .bak or .ap, well I did that and it disappeared in the root explorer, I'm just wondering for future reference when I go to reinstall. Where did they go?

    Root Stock 2.1 with SPRecovery

    I for some reason have SPRecovery 0.99.3b. and I dont have root at all, or any superuser permissions. I noticed this when I tried to load the official 2.2 and it wouldn't let me. So my question is how 1. How do I have this? 2. How would I root from here? I've thought about the easy root, but...

    Root Going back to stock

    Can someone point me in the direction of the best way to go back to stock 2.1 on my motorola droid. Without losing all my things. Im just wanting to go back for right now. Thanks.
