As title really, is this phone still good? How is battery life (I know that will differ dependant on loads of factors), but in general, is it ok? Any annoying quirks or issues with the latest updates? My wife's Xperia Z is on its last legs and carphone warehouse are selling the S6 for £29.99...

I've seen several folk on various news sites, here and other forums etc claim they're not worried about their battery exploding because they're using the wireless charger. Is this a proven "fix" that lessens the chance of the issue occurring or is this just an internet theory?

Regardless of your thoughts on OnePlus as a company (they do have a pretty bad rep), you can't argue that you're getting a really good device for a pretty awesome price. UK price is rumoured to be £309, hard not to buy one at that price.

The first Marshmallow ROM (sorta) for the G4. Not exactly a ROM per sé, just the stock H815 release with root. Make sure you read the instructions and thread before installing. An unlocked bootloader is required...

If you're unbranded and in Poland. :) According to AP, they did the same with the G3 and Lollipop. However, it took a while for the rest of the world to see it so if you're not living in Polska, you may be waiting a while. Fingers crossed though...

I was mucking about with the video recording last night and found the slo mo option. Just to confirm, there is no sound when the video is played back or am I holding it wrong? It seems daft to want sound in a slow motion video, but it would be nice to know you can have it if you want it.

Any idea how I change the app shortcuts on the lock screen? I will never, ever use that quick memo app (or whatever it is) and I use Textra as my default messaging app, but it's the LG default SMS app that appears on the lock screen.

I'm pretty much settled on my upgrade being the G4 and I should be able to pick it up in a week. One of the niggles though is the notification pull down. It's hideous. I like my notification pull down to be pretty discrete and minimalistic. Is it themable and how configurable is what appears...
