I have a Verizon S6 Edge and the "My Places" notification pops up every 15 minutes non-stop. I've read where others have this problem but with no answer on how to stop the notification. Does anyone have any ideas?

I've seen pictures of the Edge where there are icons (messaging, email, etc) on the edge of the screen but I can't seem to figure out how to do this. I do however see where I can add contacts. What am I doing wrong?
