If I download a photo from a text message, it goes into the Downloads folder of the gallery, then anywhere from an hour to maybe a day later, it's gone! There is a just a black square with a triangle and a ! in its spot. What's the deal?

So, on my HTC Rezound, when I take a video with the phone, it saves in the camera shots folder. Why? If I take a video, I want it to save in the video folder. Any way to change this? Thanks.
