Help Can you put texts into folders?

I have a HTC Rezound and was wondering if there was a way to put received text messages into separate folders? Either by using a phone setting or possibly with an available app through the market. It's soooo annoying when a friend sends you a multimedia message or something and instead of saving under his/her name, there are a ton of different messages because not only do they sent to you, but random other people. I hate that. Example: Your friends name is Ted...Your messages look like this:

From Ted: to Hank, Bill, Greg
From Ted: to Joe, Karl, Hank
From Ted: to Bill, Hank, Ryan

Why can't they just be in one place-from Ted?!?!?!

I've only used the stock text app but many here use third party message apps. I wish I could suggest a dandy for you but I lack experience in what's available that will do what you desire. Perhaps by bumping this to the top someone will jump in with a suggestion.

I don't have any experience with doing what you describe either I always delete all my text messages after reading them. But "documents to go" is an app that may fit your needs.
