Would a new kernel work on my OV running BobzHome rc2 ICS rom ? I was on BACKside IHO cm7 and overclocked to 806 with no reboots or issues whatsoever , but running my new ICS rom I can't overclock without freezes and reboots. Help please :)

Things have settled with this ROM for me, but as long as I don't over clock. As soon as I turn it up to 480 and 729 or higher it freezes and soft boots to the lock screen. Any suggestions to allow this great rom with overclocking?
I began by flashing the latest nightly cm9, not too buggy but was told to flash the beta version of cm9. That proved an epic failure lol, many force closes etc. So I then flashed the latest nightly apok cm9 and it worked flawlessly, even while over locked to 804 and 480 on scary. As soon as I...
I flashed the nightly cm9 version first, then regular beta cm9 and am having even worse issues:
No mms
Keyboard and Browsers force close
Phone will freeze, then bump and end up on lock screen and startup all over again.
I was over locked but am now down to stock CPU 600 MHz, what do I do?
I have an OV 2.2.2 and am running latest BACKside. I'm really thinking about moving on to Quattrimus ICS or Cold as Ice but need some direction as to if those other ROMs support drivers for both OV screens. And maybe some opinions on better choices, but must say i love all the extra cyanogen...
My OV is rooted to latest ihobs n when I plug in my headphones it seems my phone mic disables so my callers cannot hear me, however my stock OV rom didn't do this. I am not using an inline mic just reg headphones.
Had the latest backside iho rom on my optimus v 2.2.1, but now have a 2.2.2. If I restore to the last backup.zip with the iho rom, will it work on this 2.2.2? I've already rooted with the root.apk and am pretty sure this hasn't had the new radio update.
Don't wanna brick this lol. Thanks.
I'm trying to remove the Gmail account and add a new one, but its telling me some apps need the account and a data reset is required to remove it. I'm backed up and backed up everything with Titanium. Can I boot into recovery and wipe data only or will it brick? I'm running latest backside rom...
If my V is lost or stolen and a remote wipe is initiated via Cerberus or RVO Phone Locator, how will the BACKside ROM react to the wipe command? Will it brick the phone?
I'm running the latest BACKside iho, and under settings have always clicked my Max CPU at 729mhz. Lately, possibly after the 5.02 backside update, the CPU resets back to 600mhz after reboot even with restore CPU settings checked at reboot. I'm on an Optimus V. Any suggestions?
