So, using Heimdall, I was able to root my first epic4g; I exchanged it yesterday and, when trying to root the replacement, I keep getting the "error claiming interface" message.. I've tried version 1.2, 1.3.1, on both Lion and snow leopard, and still can't get it to work.. Anyone else rooting...

So, on the evo4g, I always ran vr super wipe, before installing any roms.. Does anyone know if that same procedure holds true on the evo3d? will VR super wipe still work, or is there a "newer" file that works better? thanks!

I've looked everywhere on the internet, and I can't find any solution to disabling the lock screen on Cyanogen 6 on my EVO; is it even possible, or, is there any software that will either disable it, or let me use something besides the power button to unlock it? thanks so much!

since updating to froyo, and the .6 fix, something weird happens to my phone now and then; just sitting on my desk, or in my pocket, there will be a couple of "clicks", the screen will change to a differnt one, and maybe the orientation goes from landscape to portrait(sometimes) Nothing else...

I think I know the answer to this, but, I am returning my Incredible for a EVO..When I do this, and download AppBrain, and have it sync my apps, will everything I had downloaded/purchased for the Incredible show up and be available for me to download/install on my EVO? I assume 2.1 is 2.1...

I know that Gmail deletes emails off the phone once you delete them..but others, like Comcast, send them to the "deleted" folder on your phone..Do these "deleted" emails need to be "deleted" from the deleted folder, so they dont build up on the phone, or, are they not really "stored" locally on...
