Root [CDMA] Rooting on a mac?

All the solutions I have seen so far are for win doze or Linux boxes; anyone seen a MacOSX procedure yet?

thanks!

Negative, and it bummed me. Usually the rooting happens courtesy of shell commands that I tend to translate to Macs from Linux for people.

In this case, it's all rolled into an executable - you can install a Parallels or VMWare virtual machine on your Mac and then install Linux or Windows to get there quickly from a Mac, or wait until a Mac executable is released.

Personally, I prefer using a virtual machine to Bootcamp. I used Parallels and Windows last night (because I had that handy at the time) and it worked like a champ.

If I see anything new, I'll post back here, please do likewise!

Yeah, no answer over at XDA yet either..
I haven't had good luck using a virtual machine and a USB connection on my mac in the past, so I will probably wait until the folks at REVOLUTION release a "official" Mac solution; hell, we've waited this long, so whats a few more days at this point!

I've considered volunteering the build for them, but I'm an unknown, and they do have their intellectual property secrets to respect.

If it becomes a problem, I'll reach out, but don't hold your breath. OTOH - I just remembered, I did one of them a very small favor before and they were kinda happy (protecting one of their apps from piracy). Hmmmm. OK, maybe. Maybe.
