My "faint little red light" proximity sensor is always on, even while not on a phone call. I am not charging it and i can still see it on, sitting there draining more battery. Anyone else have this problem, know how to fix? Thanks

Evertime I go to send a mass text or pic message i click on the icon of the people and a list of all my contacts shows up. Unfortunately, it also includes a million email addresses of people ive emailed in the past. Is there anyway to stop gmail contacts from showing up in text message...
