Help Proximity sensor always on?

My "faint little red light" proximity sensor is always on, even while not on a phone call.

I am not charging it and i can still see it on, sitting there draining more battery.

Anyone else have this problem, know how to fix?

Under what lighting conditions and angles can you see see the infrared? I do not see mine at all.
One way to confirm that it is indeed running, and it not being just your perception, is to DL Mini Info, from there you can look at all of your sensor's info.

Downloaded and running app. Where does one locate Prox sensor info?

My apologies! I got Elixir confused with Mini Info.

Go to Sensors, then press the Play button for the prox sensor.

Regardless, I have a feeling this will not get you what I thought it would. Sorry.
