Ok i have a moto milestone A854. And rom manager thinks its a droid and thats the only phone i can pick. Would picking the droid as my phone mess it up when loading a rom?

Ok what's the difference between the a854 and the other milestone I've heard diff things like it doesn't have a locked. Bootloader and etc. But does it make a different when using Got 2.2? I'm a newbie and have little knowledge of this kind of stuff.
