Is the us even going to get the update? On the moto support site it says the we sill stay on 2.1?

It lists a Telus Canada firmware which should work with US 3G.

How do i get the firmware on the phone? Im not very fimilair with it im a new milestone user lol but i have rooted it with androot. Idk if that really counts
