Its a odd thing, but didn't happen on my Thunderbolt-sometimes, if I tap the screen while something is playing, the progress/pause bar doesn't come up, so if I want to pause playing, I pretty much have to hit the Back button. Any thoughts?

Because the Home button is a physical button, not a touchspot on the base of the phone, it does mean that since it pushes in, dust CAN get inside the Defender case, which is why every several days I have to open the frakking thing up. :(
