I'm on stock ics, no kernel, mods or anything, rooted and unlocked 4.0.4 only, I'm wanting to go to jbsourcery and I was wondering do I need to have the jelly bean boot loader flashed in order to go to a jb rom? And would I need to have jb radios? Just wanna have my ducks in order before...

OK I'm interested if the hardware version will affect anything if I root it? Has anyone herd of any issues with hardware version 9 when rooting? I know there are 2 hardware versions and wasn't sure if there was any difference or if one was better than the other?

Finally going to take the plunge and root later tonight, which recovery system do you prefer? Twrp or cwm..I'm familiar with cwm but not twrp..how do you install twrp? I've looked around and saw there was an app that installed it for you but can't seem to find it in the market!! Thanks for the help!

OK ive gotten my phone unlocked using the toolkit. I was on my way to unlocking it manually via adb and fastboot ( got android sdk setup and drivers working but never got files for fastboot) but decided to go with the toolkit. im kinda nervous to root and start loading roms and espically kernels...

ive gotten my phone to be seen when it is on and you type in adb devices, but when i put it into bootloader and i type in fastboot devices i get a blank. where should i go from here? should i just pull the easy way and do the toolkit? if i installed the toolkit could i still type in adb codes...

Has anyone tried the app in the market by unstable apps that suppose to install the cwmr touch? I was scrolling through the market n saw it n was courious if anynoe has tried it..its called cwmr touch installer.
