My phone says unsupported file system or blank SD card.How did I fix this problem?

I just bought a Milestone 2 and there's no option in the settings to enable data like there was in my old Xperia Play. How can I enable data so I can use the internet on it?

I have tried superoneclick, and doomlord, neither of them work, I need to root this phone today. $50 paypal to whoever get's me a working root first.
