samsung galaxy admire 4g

Hello.I have a Samsung Admire 4G (SCH-R820) and it's not booting....it's showing the Samsung logo and after the display it's black. The only thing that i can do is to enter Download Mode......but nothing else.I have read some forums and hey said that the phone it's soft bricked...i can't boot...

As quickly as it appeared, it is now gone. I was thinking about replacing my standard Admire and getting this phone to upgrade to 4G. What little research I've done on this site reveals no news as to why they dropped it. I'll assume the merger may have something to do with it, but who knows...

Since Samsung has made the galaxy admire impervious to any root methods, I encourage everyone to complain to Samsung. As someone else mentioned in another thread ... on like the fourth page of Let's Get Root, if there are enough intelligent complaints then they may create an update that allows...

Hey everyone. I just bught this phone a week ago to now find out there's no root yet. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd like to learn to be a dev rather than just a tester. I tested a lot of roms for Samsung Admire3g and hope to do the same plus some with my Samsung Galaxy...
