Sony is updating the Xperia Z5 family the Z4 Tablet, and the Z3 Plus to Android 7.1.1 today. The devices have already been enjoying Nougat for quite some time, as they've been on Android 7.0 since February.
PTCRB, a cellular certification company, has just certified the Android Nougat update for the Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia Z4 Tablet, and Z3 Plus series of devices. However, it's unknown when the update will officially be made available.
If you own the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z3+, or Z4 Tablet from Sony, then you can look forward to a security update hitting your device soon. Multiple people have reported that Sony is currently rolling out an update that includes November's security patches to all three of these devices.
Hi I'm new here, hope u'll help me.
My Sony Xperia Z3+ needs new motherboard as engineers said. And I need to buy new motherboard.
Please, tell me where can I buy one? which site is safe and if its possible to replace this part by myself.
Seems there's only a few of us with z3+ at the minute so thought I'd start a new thread.
Has anyone tested the waterproof of it yet? I had the z3 compact and used it a few times, but I'm just wondering if anything needs to happen before or after getting this thing wet, taking into account the...

I may purchase both, can't find the quick charge in stock anywhere though.
I upgraded from the Xperia Z, which has served me well for over two years, but it's starting to show a few grey hairs. The IP67 rating is important to me as I'm an "outdoors person" in Scotland, and I've been happy with Sony's take on Android. So I took the plunge on a Z3+ as its successor...
As revealed in a Phandroid news article posted yesterday, Sony finally announced the successor to the Z3 at an event in Japan. The form factor is very similar to previous Z-series handsets, featuring a metal frame supporting a 5.2" 1920 x 1080 display in a body measuring 146 x 72 x 6.9mm and...
Sony unveiled its awesomely elegant and uber-light Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet at MWC 2015. The device performs great, powered by the fastest Qualcomm processor. But, Experia Z4 wasn't showed in WMC 2015.
However, a Chinese company leaked a set of photos about the long-rumored Sony Xperia Z4. From...
