Can anyone find a decent game app that WILL INSTALL??
Angry Birds
Fruit Ninja
Plants Vs Zombies
etc...
None of these apps will install....is this tablet just for looks? Considering returning it unless anyone out there can educate me on what I'm doing wrong. Anyone else having same trouble?
Just opened new Velocity Cruz T301 and updated firmware to 2.2....but now after following directions and setting up my WiFi when I attempt to open MarketPlace or the Browser I get the message "Service Unavailable."
What to do?
I have a mid wm8650 7" tablet. I have attempted to clean the screen with a damp cloth. it stopped working except in the 2 left corners. When I press an icon the whole line moves an it goes into thecontacts screen and stalls
can someone help?
I have a T301 rooted and running fine. Is there anyway to upgrade the internal RAM? not referring to SD Card or the 2-4gb internal storage but they RAM.
With the Cruz T301 selling out this Christmas I would like to encourage anyone that has one to go to the cruzreader.com/contact.php website and submit a request for a firmware update to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
Thank you :)
Picked up a T301 running Android 2.2 for my wife a cheap e-reader. This tablet could be so much better with a little overclocking love and android market support. Is anyone working on a root for this device or am I just stuck with a simplistic, slow e-reader that for some reason has Android.
Is there any documentation for android tablet - software guide. I do not mean the user guide that comes with the tablet. I need to know about using android features on the tablet ie how to put icons on the home screen, ... etc.
Velocity Cruz website has an update for 2.2 android. Don't forget to backup your apps or you will have to re-install them. As a matter of fact you will have to set it up as new, date time language wifi info email, all that neat stuff. Wish I knew how to backup as it took me most of the day to...
I have a Velocity Cruz T104 i know it works great but it went to sleep and i tried to wake it up but nothing the screen is still off. I would like some info or help with solving this problem. its charged and hitting reset didn't seem to work no Cruz logo which usually pops up after reset...
Okay so I wanted to connect it to my PC but it was unrecognized, so I did a google search and someone said to restore data to factory settings so I did, It then shut down then started to reboot, Now its stuck on the Cruz tm screen and its been like this for atleast 10 mins, Any Idea on how to...
When I connect to windows XP, it wants a driver. Since I don't have a driver I cancel install. I'm trying to transfer a book using adobe e reader and the reader doesn't acknowledge the Cruz tablet.
Anyone purchased one of the Velocity Micro's Cruz Tablets (T301 model that runs Froyo - 2.2)? I was wanting one and can only justify if I can hookup a USB GPS receiver.
I wondered if it will install on this, since it installs through the browser. I figure if it does, that would be a great way to get a worth while app store on this thing without rooting.
Anyone know where to find working apps tailored for the Cruz? (aside from the app store, since they wont let it access it).
Specifically I'd like a Gmail app. I did find one out there on the web that I could get without having to go through the store, but it was tailored for some other device...
Have a Cruz R101 here.
Just curious if anyone can recommend a good converter that will convert divx to anything the Cruz can recognize? I know the manual says it only handles mpegs, so I tried a few video converters and so far none of the resulting mpegs are readable by the cruz...
Is anyone else hopping on board with the Velocity Cruz, or am I the only one? BTW, I think there should be a Velocity Cruz section -- if people will use it.
It seems to be a pretty nice machine (got it at Best Buy for $170). I don't think I'd pay anything over 170. I'm really interested in...
I was wondering if it was possible to root a velocity micro cruz (t301) tablet. Any advice would be great, because this thing doesn't have the app market, and that is something that I really would like.
The more I see this tablet, the more I kind of like it. I just saw what may be the full specs for the Cruz tablet at, but it was the only place that had a complete spec list, including processor, but if it is the 800mhz Snapdragon, I would be OK with that. The fact that it has 512mb of RAM is...
I have books on my Cruz Reader, but they are not appearing. Also, there is music on it, but cannot access it by just tapping on "music". Does anyone have any ideas? Am going to call customer support tomorrow. Until I can get these apps to work, it is not that useful a device. Thanks for any help.
I noticed last night that Velocity micro their cruz reader site.
CruzReader Home
they have a little more details than they had before, and a ship date ..... September 27. I guess we have to wait and see if they hit their date.
