Root 1.5ghz or 1.2ghz snapdragon?

From everything I have read the avid 4g is supposed to have a 1.2ghz Kraite Snapdragon SoC. However when I look at the system specs with CPUZ, Pimp my ROM and other utilities it says I have a 1.5ghz SoC. Were there two varients of this phone or is it a typo?

the lg spirit was the same it was marketed as 1.2Ghz dual core but was later discovered it was a 1.5Ghz dual LG gave us a "error" i assume zte did the same

I am not going to complain. 300 MHz is 300 MHz. I am also use to the Galaxy Sx series and I never ran into that before.
